WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO

It all started…

as young girl, an only child, growing under the wing of my beautiful, eccentric, hard working single mother. She raised me on her own since the age of five, in Georgian Bay, a small lake town in Ontario. There were struggles and some hardships, yet it was always balanced with an abundance of love, compassion, and great learnings.

We didn’t have much, monetarily speaking, but there was a clear influence of creativity, freedom of expression and feeling supported. I became extremely adaptable and developed a passion for reperposing, reusing and finding beauty in people and things. Coming from a small family and no siblings, I developed special relationships with friends, coaches, teachers, and mentors that brought diversity to my social experience. I can confidently say, I am proud of my ability to communicate and share kindness with just about everyone I interact with. I am proud of my ability to bring new life and purpose to something. I continue learning how to harness the special lessons & gifts from my life’s experiences and infuse them into my creative mediums of work, as there is no doubt, I am meant to share them.

My “resume” has been described as colorful haha. I started traveling when I was 17 and you could say my work has always been shaped around that being a priority. I completed my post secondary education in business and tried the conventional path and it wasn’t for me. Becoming a hairstylist 15 years ago allowed my soul to feel free. I am expressing myself creatively, I am earning a living and best of all, have met some of the most beautiful, influential people along the way, some who are now my dearest friends. I aspire for everyone who visits me to feel just as good inside as they do outside. (click on HAIR tab to learn more :)
